As quoted from Merle's Facebook post...
"As I lie here waiting my turn, for God, to decide which time & day, I am, to be admitted into his presence, I would be ever so grateful if you or your loved ones, both family and friends, could donate to the Leukaemia Foundation of Australia.....I am not asking you to feel sorry for me, as I have been blessed with a full life of joy, love & laughter, and it is my time, so no matter, how small or large, your donations (hopefully), will be used to help others. ONCE again THANK YOU!
We (a few of her ex-Konekt friends) feel that it is a great way to honour her spirit and to remember her by setting up this donation page (if you are not able to view her post from Facebook and make a donation from there).

Merle, I am so lucky to know you when I joined Konekt. Though I was named by you as A1, we always cracked jokes and shared lots of laughter. Not only we have had fun, I also learnt a lot from you about your culture and history. You'll be missed heaps. And we will get together to remember you at least once a year.

Although Merle never climbed to the top of the corporate ladder or set Olympic records she will always be remembered by those lucky enough to have worked with her. She was a truly genuine human being who said exactly what she meant, was positive, and drama free, and remained that way even in the face of death. I am truly appreciative of being able to spend time with her during her time on this earth.
