I can't believe how generous the Leukaemia Foundation was for Karl and our family, they provided a lovely apartment directly across the road from Peter Mac and Royal Melbourne Hospital, so that we could spend quality time together while Karl underwent such intense medical treatment. Even if a cure cannot be found, this kind of support is so important to patients and their families and further funding is required to ensure this support is provided.
