Wendy's Story
Wendy battled with blood cancer for over 20 years. Because she was a proud person and like to always look her best when attending family events or running errands people didn't realise the effort she made to continue living a life as best she could, which included reading, gardening and sharing a laugh with the people she loved. Wendy survived liver cancer by receiving surgery two years ago, unfortunately she developed AML 6 months ago and opted for voluntary end of life as she knew her quality of life would no longer allow her to enjoy the things she loved doing. Thank you so much for your contributions as this means others will benefit from the research and support that Wendy received from leukaemia foundation over the years.
